Library Mission:
The mission of the school library is to ensure students and staff to be effective users of ideas and information. We accomplish this by:
providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats
providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest
working with the administrators and the faculty to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students

to provide a pleasant creative and safe learning environment
to facilitate the use of information in a variety of formats
to take an active role in supporting curriculum and providing materials that meet a variety of learning style
to empower students to be independent and efficient lifelong learners
to instill an appreciation of reading by assisting students with the literary selection
Library Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (Mondays to Fridays)

Library Rules & Regulations
ADMISSION:
All registered students of the school, faculty, and other staff are allowed to use the library. Students will be issued with a library booklet at the beginning of every school year. If the booklet is lost, PLEASE REPORT IMMEDIATELY. A replacement will be issued at a fee of Php 300.00 which will be paid at the Cashier’s Office.
BORROWING PROCEDURE:
A user must be a registered student in the current term to be able to use the library services
All students must present their library booklet before borrowing any library materials
Library materials may not be taken out from the library unless the library staff has properly issued them out
Students from
Preschool may take out one (1) book for a period of one day
Grades 1 through 6 are allowed to borrow two (2) books at a time for a period of three days
High school are allowed to borrow three (3) books at a time for a period of one (1) week.
All borrowed materials must be returned on or before the due date
Students are not allowed to borrow books on behalf of others or transfer borrowed materials to other students
The following materials can only be used within the library:
Reference books
Newspapers
Journals and magazines
DAMAGE / LOSS OF LIBRARY MATERIALS:
All users will be held responsible for any damage or loss of library materials in their possession and will be required to meet the cost of replacement and processing
Users must ensure that the books they borrow are in good condition to avoid being held responsible for any damages noted while returning the books
Lost books must be reported to the librarian immediately and replaced or paid for within 30 days If any book is not returned for 30 days after it is due, the borrower concerned will be charged its replacement value and an additional Php150.00 as processing fee.
Lost library books that are recovered, must be handed to the librarian as they remain the property of the school library
It is the responsibility of the borrower to see that a book is in good order when borrowed and if a book is returned in a damaged condition it will be assumed it has been damaged while in the possession of the last borrower
Damage and loss of library materials:
Any user who causes damage to or loss of any library materials or other library property will be charged for replacement costs.
Marking of books and other library materials will be regarded as damage
FINES AND PENALTIES:
A fine of five (Php 5.00) per day will be charged for late items
All students are responsible for any books checked out in their names
Students with an overdue book cannot borrow any library materials until the overdue book is returned
DISCIPLINE:
All users must observe total silence in the library at all times
Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library: All communication gadgets including cell phones should be put on silent mode before entering the library. No call should be made or received in the library.
All bags, cases, folders, etc, must be left in the counter area of the library
Anyone caught marking, defacing, or mutilating books or any other library material will be expected to pay for the material with the most current edition of the same
Good order must be observed in the library at all times for example placing of feet on the furniture, eating and drinking, sleeping, etc. will not be allowed
Users are not allowed to reshelf books after removing them from the shelf. Leave the books on the table
